More Wikileaks Cables on Vatican Released

Wikileaks has released 300 more unedited cables from the US State Department on their diplomacy with the Vatican. There is now 979 such cables available for the public to see. One cable dates all the way back to 1993 to more recent cables in 2010.

The Vatican has launched a new application. It's called “iGPII” and allows you to follow World Youth Day from your iPhone or iPad. It will be available starting 1 August 2011 in five languages: English, Italian, French, Spanish and Portuguese.

The Vatican has launched a mobile version of it's main web page. By visiting, all the Holy See's online services is now available on your hand held mobile device. From there you can read the pope's speeches, view photos, and watch videos in 6 different languages.

The internet is used for pretty much everything nowadays. Now these nuns are getting ready to use the web for something they're not all accustomed to. For years now, Sister de Witt has used the internet to connect with a younger crowd. The idea came, when she realized that less and less youths were going to Church. She decided to go online to chat with them, so they could re-connect with religion.
