When Sister Mary Clementina entered the convent in January 1968, she was 17 and had just finished school. She even remembers the exact time: four o'clock in the afternoon. She never regretted the decision: "And from that year until now I've never gone back home. I'm now 64 years old. I joined at 17 years. And then now I've alredy celebrated my 25 years. I'm waiting to celebrate 50 years as a religious.”

One Word Sums Up the Priesthood: Love.

Greed doesn’t sum up the priesthood. Sexism doesn’t sum up the priesthood. Abuse doesn’t sum up the priesthood. One word sums up the priesthood: Love. Not the flawed love of human beings - but the Love that created space and time, hung on a cross, rose from the dead, promised that he’d never leave us, and who reaches out to the world today, through the hands of his priests.

Seriously Ill Seminarian Ordained on His Hospital Bed

William Carmona Lopez was ordained a deacon and priest by Bishop David R. Choby of Nashville on Monday, September 8, 2014 at Christus Santa Rosa Hospital Northwest. This was an extraordinary moment of Grace for all present as Father Carmona continued to struggle with his serious illness and was ordained as he laid in his hospital bed surrounded by priests, seminarians, and many friends. William died only 2 days later.
