Xt3 Podcast: Theology on Tap - Sydneyhttp://www.xt3.com/library/view.php?id=3370Feel like tapping into one of the most popular social events in Sydney? Heard about the event that attracts a few hundred young adults each month? Theology on Tap is a monthly event (coming up to its 9th year) where people from all walks of life get together for a bit of food for thought over some theology on tap. Why ‘on tap’? Because no great story ever started with someone eating a salad! TOT is held at Le Pub, a great new Parisian-inspired venue that mixes the romance of Paris with the "every day" of the Metro. Nestled underground on the corner of King and York Street and only a few minutes away from Town Hall and Wynyard Stations, it’s in the heart of Sydney’s CBD. Come along to Le Pub during the evening of every first Monday of the month to make some new friends, enjoy some good food and wine, all the while listening to an engaging speaker chat for 20mins on a particular topic connected with the Catholic faith, with a brief time after for Q&A. And if you can't make it... listen to the talks here on Xt3! Today wine is more often tied to becoming tipsy, getting muddled, as well as thinking and acting badly. Is there anything true though in the ancient slogan? Is there any link between wine, and truth and faith and ethics; or is all alcohol just addictive poison? It's time we sipped not just from theology on tap but enjoyed a glass - or two - of philosophy from the bottle. This event was held at Le Pub in Sydney on Monday 2 March 2015. Speaker: Professor Hayden Ramsay is Senior Deputy Vice Chancellor of The University of Notre Dame Australia and Chair of the College of Philosophy and Theology. Legacy, Elections & the Future Church" with Bishop Anthony FisherOur generation has only known two Popes, and they have been amongst the greatest the world has ever seen. It has been through the inspirational and courageous leadership of Pope Benedict XVI and the late Blessed John Paul II that a new wave of Catholic young adults have deepened their faith, strengthened their conviction & been given new hope. The youth of the world have a deep love of Pope Benedict XVI.
