UNOH members (often middle class university educated Christians) move in to struggling communities and strive to share God's love with their neighbours, they take vows of Simplicity and Service and truly live out the Gospel message "love thy neighbour."   <br />

Laura Bradley and Matthew Darvas sat down with Jon Owen for an informal interview to discuss his work with UNOH. Jon Owen is one of 9 team members form UNOH working in Mt Druitt in Sydney  Australia. <br />

He is married and has two children Kshama and Kiera. Jon and his wife Lisa met through UNOH and during this interview Jon shares with us his ideas and thoughts on poverty, the church and gives an example of how we can live a life like Jesus in modern Australia. <br />

It brought to life Pope Benedict XVI's words during the Papal Vigil at WYD08: 'To be truly alive is to be transformed from within, open to the energy of God's love.'<br />
