SCENE is back again for the third time this July, which means that once again, the Sydney CBD will come alive with the spirit of World Youth Day. From Wednesday 11th to Friday 13th July between 11am and 4pm each day, Martin Place will become a hive of activity when the Vocations Expo rolls into town.
The Expo is a free, open-air family event and will feature live entertainment, a free BBQ sponsored by Harris Farm Markets, and up to 48 Catholic stallholders exhibiting. The Jesuits, Dominican sisters, Patrician Brothers, Capuchin Friars and Missionaries of God’s Love will be among those bearing witness to the joy of their vocation to follow Christ through consecrated life. As well as religious congregations, other exhibitors include Campion College, the University of Notre Dame, Australian Catholic University, Couples for Christ, Vinnies Youth, the Catholic Weekly, Mustardseed Bookshop, the Life, Marriage and Family Centre and many more.
The main stage on Martin Place will feature performances from Youth for Christ, singer/songwriter Vanessa Trujillo, the Immaculata Community and the SOUL Band from Pittwater, just to name a few.
The expo is a rare opportunity to witness the dynamic and diverse life of the Catholic Church in Sydney all converge in the one place. Come and be a part of it! For more information, go to http://www.credosydney.org/our-works/scene/vocations-expo
