WYD2013 Pilgrim Proves How One Person Can Make a Real Difference

In two weeks' time 28-year-old Sydney secondary schoolteacher, Natalie Caparrotta along with three Year 11 students from Mary MacKillop College, Wakeley will head for Peru to spend five days helping to build staircases and pathways in the steep hillside slums of Lima in the lead up to World Youth Day in Rio de Janeiro.

The time spent in Lima's shantytowns as well as organising dental and health checks for the children who live there are part of a number of different immersion experiences pilgrims to WYD will undertake before the start of World Youth Day on 23 July. Visit this article to read more.
