Last edited 5th September 2014 Wins Two Awards at ACPA 2014!

We are very honoured to have been presented with two awards at this year's Australasian Catholic Press Association (ACPA) Awards, held in Canberra, Australia. The awards included the 'Best Use of New Media' for our social media presence, mobile Apps and live streaming, as well as 'Best Original Artwork' for the incredible images created by our artist and graphic designer Clayton for the 2014 Xt3 Lent Calendar. Thank you to all our supporters and our social media followers for contributing to Xt3's online presence!

Here is the feedback from the ACPA 2014 judging panel:

Best Use of New Media
Winner: Xt3 has built a large, active community with a diverse range of content and access points. Since its launch, it has followed social media trends and utilised a broad range of touch-points to effectively engage with its target audience. It has a clear and strong social media strategy, through which it engages with young Catholics in environments they feel comfortable with. The ‘Ask a Priest’ feature is a brilliant way of engaging with an audience who feel comfortable conversing online and the live streaming and chat options allow their audience to both view content and to contribute to it.

Best Original Artwork
Winner: Xt3
Lent Calendar, Clayton Diack

Clayton's Lent calendar illustrations containing traditional hand drawing and digital techniques were an outstanding display of creativity and excellence. The collection of more than 46 illustrations received great feedback from around the world via the XT3 Lent Calendar App revealing its universal impact and great understanding of the story of Lent.
