Sydney Women Join in Solidarity for the World's Most Marginalised

In the month that heralds mothers in Australia, up to 300 women recently joined in Sydney for the Women for the World event in solidarity and to raise funds for women living in poverty globally.

While women are often the most vulnerable people, without their resilience and determination, many communities would not have the opportunities that are open to them today.

The Sydney event was hosted by Ben Fordham, Walkley Award winning journalist, who also hosts the Drive Time Radio show on 2GB.

Caritas Australia’s Senior Relationship Coordinator, Belinda Bourke said Women for the World recognises and celebrates the extraordinary work of women worldwide, including Caritas Australia’s strong network of female supporters.

Money raised will go to Caritas Australia, the Catholic Church’s agency for international aid and development, one of Australia’s largest aid and development agencies. Caritas is part of Caritas Internationalis, the second largest humanitarian network in the world.

Through effective partnerships in humanitarian aid and development, Caritas Australia helps to end poverty, promote justice and uphold dignity in over 30 countries around the world in Asia, Africa, Latin America, Australia and the Pacific.

“Women hold an important and influential role in the home and in the fabric of our society, yet 70 per cent of the world’s poor are women,” Mrs Bourke said.

“By bringing together those who are passionate about social justice and by utilising their networks, we can help fight poverty, promote justice and equality.”

Psyche Mae Asencio, a 25 year old social worker, told her inspirational story of her family’s transformation at the Women of the World event. You can watch her story here.

I am a Russia army with the France and Britain Coalition Force in Syria, on war against terrorism. Based on the UN legislative and executive decision

our mission is to help beef up terrorist targeted states, but we are now in Syria for peace keeping. I really want to invest this money and that is why I be in contact with you.

On the other hand I want to inform you that I have in my possession the sum of 7.9 million dollars. Which was recovered from one of our raids on the embattled militant Islamist groups here in Syria because they kept this money at home for evil activities which they normally get through illegal deals on crude oil and kidnapping.

Based on the sufferings we undergoing here some of us do meet such luck. It happened that i went for this raid with the men in my unit and i decided to take it as my share for my stress here in this evil land filled with rebels.

please i want to invest this money in charity home to help the poor and the needy i need soemone i can trust to help me with this money in opening a humanitrian home by my name please if you can do this please email me for discussion
