Advent: Wisdom from Mother Teresa: Vocation

Last edited 10th November 2016

Mother Teresa is well-known around the world for being a symbol of love and compassion. She was known as a woman who gave her life in service to the poor and has inspired many to follow on that same path.

Mother Teresa was canonised on September 4, 2016, becoming Saint Teresa of Calcutta.

What was Mother Teresa's secret to finding the energy and love for those she cared for in the streets of Calcutta, and in the Missionaries of Charities' Home for the Dying ? “I pray,” she said, quite simply.

As a woman of prayer, Saint Teresa of Calcutta wrote many words of wisdom that we can draw inspiration from.

In this video, we reflect on Saint Teresa's words of wisdom on "vocation".

Ponder on the words of Saint Teresa and listen to what God is speaking to your heart about these things.
