World Youth Day pilgrims got down to business in Madrid on Wednesday as the first catechesis classes were held in locations throughout the city.

Pilgrims in Madrid will have plenty to do during World Youth Day! On Wednesday night, one of the main attractions is a film festival in the city's Fuencarral street. Some of the films that will be featured are "Cristiada", "There be Dragons" and "Of Gods and Men".

The day prior to his departure for Spain, the Holy Father requested prayers for his trip during Wednesday's general audience in Rome.
