What are the Fruits of the Holy Spirit?

The 12 Fruits of the Holy Spirit in the Catholic Catechism and Tradition are drawn largely from St. Paul’s letter to the Galatians where he writes: "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control."

Everyone’s Doing It?

Do you know why they hand out condoms at your school? Or why there’s a push for more and more over-the-counter birth control? And free birth control? Because the assumption is “everyone’s doing it.” Essentially . . . we young people are seen as animals. Rabbits, cats, dogs . . . they’re just going to do it anyway. Please tell me that you want more than just sex. Don’t you want to be loved? I do. It’s inscribed on our hearts!

What Souvenirs Do I Take as a Modern Pilgrim?

When heading overseas for a modern pilgrimage the people you meet are just as important as the experiences and the sites you visit. It would be great to be able to give them something to remember the encounter with. So in your preparation you need to think about what souvenirs that you will give to people you meet along your journey. You will most likely be hosted by some other groups, stay in someone’s house or meet other pilgrims looking to swap items.
