As the world is getting excited for the start of the 2012 London Olympics, Pope Benedict XVI has also said that he is looking forward to upcoming Games... “The Olympics are a major international sporting event, involving many nations and athletes. Because of this, they have great symbolic meaning. The Catholic Church follows these games with special affection and attention. Let's pray so that- following the will of God- the London Olympics may bring a true experience of fraternity among the nations on Earth.”
