Porn: The Worst Way to Learn About Sex

Last edited 5th May 2015

Depending on the household you grew up in, sex may or may not have been talked about a lot. For some, it’s commonplace. It might come up at the dinner table, your uncle who hits the eggnog pretty hard at the family Christmas parties might make jokes about it, or you might have grown up seeing sexually suggestive scenes on popular shows on the television in the living room.

What's Thrilling About Chastity?

Last edited 31st March 2015

Dawn Eden writes about chastity as someone who’s struggled to achieve it. Her struggles were rooted in more than just original sin; she was sexually abused as a child, suffered from her parents’ divorce, and in her loneliness, found herself lapping up the nonsense preached by today’s sex-crazed and confused culture.

Should I tell my Girlfriend About my Addiction to Pornography? I’m Afraid She’ll Leave Me.

Last edited 5th March 2015

Should tell your girlfriend about your porn problem, or should you continue to conceal it? I say neither. Instead of telling your girlfriend that you are hooked on porn and risk losing her, get rid of the porn, and tell her what you’ve done for love of her. If you truly love her, then you know that love is capable of very heroic acts. As I once read, a knight cannot be brave unless he has love. His love gives him his courage.

Chesterton in Love

Last edited 12th February 2015

St Valentine’s Day is coming up this weekend, and thoughts of love are in the air. Now, he may not be the first figure to spring to mind when thinking of romance, but here he is anyway: G.K. Chesterton. He was an incurable romantic, and spent years of his life wooing his wife, Frances - long after he was married to her, in fact.
