This video is in response to the claims of the "New Atheism." One that has been presented by the likes of Sam Harris, Richard Dawkins and the late Christopher Hitchens. One who holds faith is NOT irrational. Science and reason are not incompatible with faith in fact they compliment each other very well because they come from the same source, God.

On 3 May, Pope Benedict XVI visited the Gemelli Hospital in Italy, to congratulate teachers, students and staff on the 50th anniversary of the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery. The Pope talked about his time as a university professor, by explaining why the relationship between reason and faith is so critical.

Seek the Truth - The Example of Edith Stein

August 9th is the feast of a Jewish woman who had a doctorate in Philosophy, and converted to Catholicism during her quest for truth. Born Edith Stein, she became a Carmelite Sister and is now known as St. Teresa Benedicta of the Cross. Watch this video to reflect on the way she sought the truth, which led her to Christ.
